Meet the Author
Hello and welcome to Aiding Eagles! My name is Victoria Larimer. I am a junior Communications and Digital Studies major at the University of Mary Washington. As someone who has had her own battle with an eating disorder, I find it very important to educate others on eating disorders in the hope of prevention and awareness of these harmful disorders.
How Aiding Eagles Came to Be
In the Fall semester of 2018, I was assigned a final project for my Digital Studies capstone course. In this project, we were tasked to use some form of digital application to address an issue. Because of my history with eating disorders, I took this opportunity to create a site that would serve as an information hub for those who wanted to educate themselves on eating disorders, as well as find support options that work for them. This assignment has become a passion project for me, and I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do!
